With our Bluetooth Advertising software it is very easy to install and use, it also looks very professional and user friendly. When Bloo Alert software was developed we have tried to integrate lots of different and useful features into the software that would benefit most businesses. One of the key features lets you send a promotion that can have a time or deadline applied and the software will generate an unique ID code for that time frame so you can advise your staff if a customer comes in with a certain code whether to honour the promotion or not.
Beware as some of our competitors software will only let you send one type of campaign and may not give a facility to send using time frames, days of the week, coupons etc. Also some may look very basic and grid like. We know because we tried our competitor's software out before the Bloo Alert was developed. We also provide an installer guide, instruction manual and back up support should you encounter any problems.
What is the Bloo Alert Bluetooth Marketing System?
The Bloo Alert system consists of 2 items. Our Software Bloo Alert which installs on your laptop or PC, and a Bluetooth Transmitter which plugs into your PC or laptop.
How Does It Work?
Bluetooth is a frequency that sends data from one device (PDA, mobile phone, computer, camera etc.) to another over short distances in a wireless format. A Customer comes within range proximity of the Bloo Alert and has their mobile phone to "discoverable". The Bloo Alert software recognises the handset and then sends information to the handset over Bluetooth.

How Much Does It Cost To Send Or Receive Bluetooth Messages?
Bluetooth is free to use and therefore once you have our Bluetooth Advertising Software, you can send to as many customers as you wish.

Our Bluetooth Technology allows you to connect with multiple customers at once.
How Do I Know If My Customers Received The Campaign?
The Bloo Alert records how many were sent, declined, accepted and the total. It also lets you analyse your campaigns and you can go back to specific dates you choose to see which campaigns were successful.
The range on any Bluetooth transmitter depends on a number of factors which need to be taken into account. Weather, buildings, where the transmitter is positioned and generally anything between the transmitter and customer's mobile phone will reduce range. While the distances claimed by the antenna manufacturer may be possible in certain enviroments, you may find the ranges vary. It may even be less than the manufacturers stated maximum range in an everyday normal working enviroment. With The 2km system we would expect to achieve a range of 500m in a normal working enviroment. We would always suggest you purchase the longest range possible within your budget. What Can You Send And Receive?
By using Bluetooth Advertising / Bluetooth Marketing you can send images, text, videos, sound, games, Jpegs in fact any marketing message you can think of that uses these formats. The Software also has a facility to import any flyers or designs you already have designed. You can also create special discount or promotional campaigns and specify the timeframe that will be valid. You can also set the time, day and month; so that even when your business is closed (as long as you're PC or Laptop is switched on) the Bloo Alert continues looking for customers.
Is there a limit of messages you can send?
There is no limit on the amout of messages you can send. However we would suggest not to barrage / overload your clients with different messages and we would also suggest having messages with useful content. Otherwise Bloo Alert will become less effective and the customer will not respond to messages sent. We would suggest only running one or two campains at any given time and by giving away a free, discounted or promotional service initially, the client will will always welcome your offer. We would also suggest placing posters in your venue, if possible, inviting your clients to activate their bluetooth if they have not already done so for best possible response.
The Bloo Alert is a Permission Based Service and only works if the user turns on their Bluetooth, making it "discoverable" and elects to "Opt -In" to receive content. If at any point the user receives content of some sort and selects "NO" not to receive the incoming Bluetooth message, then the Bluetooth Software will not send another broadcast to that phone until the broadcast message has been changed or software reset.
Can I install this on more than one PC?
No the software can only be registered to one (1) computer.
